Hoverspot.com Review

Hoverspot.com surprises with some outstanding features.  HoverSpot has been around for a while, about 5 years actually, so I thought it was time to do a review.  There have been many social startups but this one has stuck around even since the global takeover by Facebook.  At first glance Hoverspot has the same features you'd expect to find on a social networking web site.  However the Contests area is a welcome change.  Members can enter photo contests to compete for cash, prizes or status within the site.  The membership base feels more focused on meeting new people rather than managing your existing friends like on Facebook.  This is a welcome aspect for many who are reluctant to use Facebook for dating or meeting new friends due to Facebooks track record with privacy issues and the watchful eye of their existing contacts. 

It's nice to see there is still some competition out there and we look forward to seeing what else Hoverspot has to offer.

    -This a nice place just to be abole to get away from facebook.

    -I would like to have more top friends so i can reach people i talk to most.

    Please stay way from the games because every site has that now.

    Ive actually made some pretty good friends on hover! Their nice and very understanding! Its always a pleasure to meet new friends!

    It's a good site to get away from Facebook,but it's becoming clogged with empty profiles and scammers...there are loads of real people there,and many are worth being friends with!

    I used to love Tagged, but now they've done away with the journals and every page is so much the same. How about giving us a place on our profile here where we can post stories, pictures, articles, greetings etc.
